Background song: 'FUNKUS AMERICANIS'

Album Songs:  Funkus Americanis  -  Nyctophobia  -  Ginger  -  Dragon Dance  -  Suzie Queue  -  EZ - Discoca  -  So Little Time  -  Movin' On

This new album of nine original songs was written and recorded in 2018 using the artist's own digital studio.  The tune "Dragon Dance" brings guitar

overtones of mystical eastern melodies and "Nyctophobia" (fear of the dark) is a trippy instrumental that elicits primordial feelings.  The heavy drum beats

in "Funkus Americanis" and "Discoca" are great dance songs and the ballads, "Ginger" and "EZ", slow the musical pace with "Ginger" being an instrumental

written in tribute to his wife.  The album's clean digital recordings and rock diversity will make you want to get up, move around and have fun!

Bio

Tommy started playing drums with popular Nashville rock bands in the 60’s throughout the Midwest and Southeast at universities, parties and dance clubs.

They recorded and released several 45 RPM pop records through various Nashville recording studios.  He greatly enjoyed playing guest drums with the Allman Brother's

southern band at a Music City night club and the band strongly influenced his music direction.  For several decades, he left music to serve as a commander in the

U.S. Army and as a corporate information technology executive.  In 2016, he returned to private music creation, writing and recording contemporary rock in his

own digital studio.  Tommy recorded the album, Electron Rock, by himself in 2018 by playing each instrument track, one at a time, layer upon layer, until a complete

song was built requiring up to 14 tracks per song.  The technical and musical challenges of a one-man-band recording an entire album are daunting but, after

several months, he did it and the result is the crisp, fresh sound of Electron Rock.  Tommy lives with his wife in the Smoky Mountains.
